About Questful
Make room for
real connection.
We build around the people, places and little invitations that make a stay memorable.
StayQuest brings that perspective into the guest experience. Bunkfy is our separate focus on the operations behind it.

A traveller’s perspective.
A community-builder’s instinct.
Shaun Doyle is Questful’s Founder and Lead Designer: a long-term backpacker, community organiser and hostel volunteer with a background in games production.
More about Shaun
He founded Purely Social, a community built around sober, wholesome and inclusive activities. From picnics and games to shared breakfasts, his work has focused on helping people meet, join in and make genuine connections.
He’s worked in libraries for over five years and run hostel activities abroad. His personal ikigai is helping people and small businesses grow, make memories and live their best lives.
Questful brings together those experiences and a belief that playful invitations can help strangers feel welcome and places thrive.

Our current focus
What we want to learn with hostels.
Which activities do guests choose? How does the review and reward workflow fit staff routines? What do guests and operators find useful?
These are learning aims, not results. Pilot conversations help us explore a practical fit for each hostel and test the assumptions behind the experience.
